Who would of ever thought that the most “unloved” vegetable on the crudite platter would have it’s moment in the wellness world.  Believe it or not, from gut health to detox cleansing, drinking celery juice can have so many health benefits.

Celery has always had amazing hydrating benefits, but it also has a rich antioxidant content – such as vitamin C, beta-carotene and flavones.  It acts as a diuretic, reduces inflammation and definitely improves overall digestive health.

Here are some more benefits you can get from drinking celery juice:

BETTER DIGESTION
Celery juice can help rebuild HCL in your gut, which is crucial for fully digesting your food and absorbing important nutrients.

ANTI-INFLAMMATORY 
Celery contains luteolin – a potent flavonoid, that can act as an antioxidant and calm inflammation.

NERVOUS SYSTEM SUPPORT
Celery has a calming effect on the nervous system because of it’s detoxifing properties and provides support throught it’s ability to act as a blood purifer.

I usually add an extra shot of lemon juice to help soften the green taste you can get and you can add a small green apple if you need to cut the green flavour a bit more.

All you need is juicer (not a blender or nutribullet), celery and fresh lemon and enjoy all the benefits of hydrated skin to a nourished body.
